What Is the Voiceover Studio?
The Voiceover Studio takes a subtitle file (SRT format), optionally translates it to another language, generates speech for each subtitle segment using TTS, and produces a synchronized voiceover track that matches the original video timing. It is a complete automated dubbing pipeline in one tool.

How It Works
Step 1: Load a subtitle file. Import an SRT file. SoundWorks parses every subtitle segment with its timing information.
Step 2: Set languages. Select the source language (the language of the subtitle text) and the target language for translation. If no translation is needed, skip this step.
Step 3: Choose a TTS engine. Select from local engines (Silero, IndexTTS2, Qwen3) for offline processing, or cloud engines (AWS Polly, ElevenLabs, and others) for premium voices. Pick the voice that fits your project.
Step 4: Configure translation. Choose the translation engine: DeepL for professional translation quality, Azure Translator for broad language coverage, or AI-powered translation through ChatGPT and Claude.
Step 5: Generate. SoundWorks translates each subtitle segment (if configured), generates speech for each segment timed to match the original subtitle duration, and assembles the complete voiceover track. Optionally mix the result with the original video.
